Admin History: Doncaster's association with Bateson began in Cambridge. In 1903 Doncaster was Bateson's first choice to collaborate with him on breeding experiments at Cambridge. Doncaster, who was working at the University of Cambridge Zoological Museum, declined the offer. R.C. Punnett took the post.
