Item CDD/A/3/A.5 - Ring binder of photographic prints

This collection of prints of original black and white photographs was listed by Elizabeth Stratton, former John Innes Centre archivist, in October 2001. The originals were sent to the Bodleian Library, Oxford. The annotations on the backs - (giving date and / or names of individuals, occasion) - were copied from those on the originals. These annotations have been reproduced in the following descriptions. Many of the prints feature Darlington in the company of others; some show others only. The prints are contained in plastic wallets which have been placed in a ring-binder. The reference number for the ring-binder is the one in the Ref No field above, and this is the one to be used when requesting the item. Elizabeth Stratton's system of listing and numbering the prints has also been retained. Her list is reproduced below and should be used for consulting the material. The item reference numbers correspond correspond to the numbers written on the backs of the prints. She assigned the reference 'CDD/P' to this whole group of prints.
