Most of the letters not by Bateson are from staff and Council members of the John Innes Horticultural Institution, including E.J. Allard, D.M. Cayley and B.T. Rumble. A list of John Innes Horticultural Institution correspondents is at the front. The correspondence has been kept in the order in which found.
