Admin History: In 1924 The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Royal Horticultural Society established a programme of vegetable seed trial to be carried out on the Society's land at Wisley, Surrey. Bateson was kept informed of the programme, though the extent of his input or involvement is unclear.
