Correspondence to Bateson from various individuals including R.H. Biffen, E. Baur and E. Gold (Meteorological Office), with several pages of enclosed data and notes. Some letters and pages of notes are in German.

Admin History: F.C. Schubeler experimented with growing wheat in Norway using seed from Central Europe, to see if it would mature earlier in the longer summer days. He observed that the wheat did acquire this property which was apparently retained when the plant was returned to Central Europe.
